Our capabilities are extensive and include earthworks, trenching, structural footings and foundations, equipment hire, and freight. MCE has an end-to-end approach, comprehensive HSE systems, and highly experienced resources to ensure that your project is completed on time and within budget.

Lancelin CMTS Civils

• Surveying of the site to ensure correct location and orientation of the mono pole. 

• Excavation and form work as per the structural design. 

• Installation of a 100mm concrete binding layer. 

• 15 tonnes of rebar installed, including the installation of a 13-metre cylindrical rebar infill cage, which had to be guyed off to temporary sure foot foundations (capable of an ultimate pull-out strength of 23KN), then aligned for verticality. 

• 135 cubic metres of concrete was poured in 8 hours with the aid of a concrete pump truck. 

• Civil construction works conducted in difficult weather conditions. As the site was located within the dunes of Lancelin beach, we had to compete with daily wind and sand erosion issues. 

• Installation of a Rocla SR6-BM 50 metre monopole foundation. The poles full strength is achieved by casting an infill cage into the footing with concrete also being pumped into the pole during installation. 

• Full handover pack completed and submitted first time right. 

• Works all conducted with in time frame, safely, efficiently, injury and incident free.

LeBlanc – Tower Foundation Upgrade

• Excavation and benching 3 sides of the existing tower foundation. 

• Scabble 3 x existing concrete faces to within client specifications. 

• Drill and anchor over 200 x starter bars into existing foundation. 

• Set out reinforcement bar and pass pre-pour inspection with no issues. Install form work and take crucial measurements to ensure the client specifics have been met. 

• Ensure to take photographs during the concrete pour showing vibration of the new foundation and even distribution. 

• Maintain the highest quality of finishing making sure to add any required fall or expansion as per the site design.

• Ensure correct 7-, 14- and 28-day tests on the concrete supply have been organised with the supplier. 

• Re-instate geotextile fabrics, blue metal and earthing to client specifications.

Herne Hill Central

• Full Telstra compound extension/Installation on an existing NBN monopole site. 

• Hut pillar foundation installation. 

• Full site earthing installation and connection to existing grid. Installation of man proof 1.8m cyclone chain link fence. Installation of fixed and removable bollards. 

• Vertical and horizontal cable tray installation. 

• Full LeBlanc Headframe installation at 15m. 

• Installation of weed mat and blue metal as per Telstra spec. Installation of carrier compliant earthing, weathering and labelling. RLM and photo pack submitted first time right. 

• Works all conducted with in time frame, safely, efficiently, injury and incident free.
